The debut film of Dr Vishnuvardhana, Dr Ambarish in doyen SR Puttanna Kanagal direction ‘Nagarahavu’ of 1972 is still evergreen cinema. The title of this film was kept for ‘Bazigar’ remake in Kannada by producer Rockline Venkatesh in 2002 for Upendra and Jyothika starring film. Later Yash starring ‘Mr and Mrs Ramachari’ got inspiration of the film and character of Dr Vishnuvardhana ‘Ramachari’ was winner for the film.

Now the same title ‘Nagarahavu’ is back again for the third time on Kannada silver screen for Kodi Ramakrishna bilingual film. Kodi Ramakrishna is back to normalcy in health. He is making hectic preparations. The title ‘Nagarahavu’ was earlier thought as ‘Naga Kanye’. It was finally decided to keep ‘Nagarahavu’ as title for Diganth and Ramya (Divya Spandana) starring cinema.

Bahubali craftsmen have brought in Dr Vishnuvardhana in Kodi Ramakrishna much awaited Kannada cinema ‘Nagarahavu’. Dr Vishnu remained inspiration for ‘Lodde’ Kannada cinema recently. In one song Dr Vishnu was used through graphic techniques. Now it is the turn of ‘Nagarahavu’ a multi crore Kannada cinema.  As a matter of fact there is one more film of Dr Vishnuvardhana to hit the silver screen. SV Rajendra Singh Babu has to make up his mind for ‘Bhimoos Bang Bang Kids’. Dr Vishnuvardhana starred in a song with Ramesh Aravind, Jaggesh and others. That is long in the cans.

Kodi Ramakrishna coming back from ill health is giving final touches the film starring Diganth and Ramya. Sadhu Kokila, Rahul Dev are also in the cast.

The team of Kodi Ramakrishna eminent director from Telugu filmdom is having a huge function on December 30th at the Dr Vishnuvardhana memorial next to Abhiman Studio. 101 feet cut out of Dr Vishnuvardhana is placed at this memorial.

Nagarahavu is one of the dream projects of director Kodi Ramakrishna. Ramya and Diganth have different roles in this film.
